Check-In Information
Check-in opens 1 hour before the scheduled departure time for the flight. Check-in closes 30 minutes prior to departure so you won’t be waiting long!.
Passenger Weight Limit
The maximum permissible passenger weight on a CASAIR aircraft is 130kg. This is a structural limitation of the aircraft certification and is thus a safety requirement. Any passenger who thinks they may exceed 130kg should contact CASAIR to verify whether or not they will be permitted to travel.
Baggage Weights
Each passenger is permitted to have a maximum of 10kg of baggage inclusive of checked baggage and carry on baggage. This baggage weight limit must not be exceeded unless approval is granted from CASAIR before 4:00pm on the day before the flight. It remains at the Captain’s discretion as to whether any excess baggage will be permitted on the day of the flight. Any excess baggage not approved by CASAIR before 4:00pm on the day before the flight will not be permitted to travel.
Dangerous Goods
All passengers will be required to make a dangerous goods declaration. Personal Electronic Devices such as mobile phones, tablets, laptop computers and any other device that may be powered by lithium batteries are not permitted to travel as checked baggage. Any item that may contain a lithium battery can only be carried as carry on baggage. All tool boxes must be made available for Dangerous Goods inspection.
Parking & Transfers
FIFO passengers who require parking for a motor vehicle for overnight or longer are required to utilise the CASAIR Long-Term Car Park. A complimentary transfer service is provided between the Long-Term Car Park and the Passenger Terminal for departures and arrivals.
- Bookings are required and must be made by 5pm the day before departure.
- When a booking is made, the required arrival time at the Car Park will be provided.

For Emergency Services and day-return passengers only, limited parking is provided at the Passenger Terminal.
Any unauthorised parking at the Passenger Terminal may result in the vehicle being towed way. The vehicle owner will be liable for the retrieval of their vehicle from the compound and for all towing, storage and associated costs.
Smoking & Alcohol
Australian law does not allow smoking on or near any aircraft. Australian law also does not permit any intoxicated person to travel on an aircraft. Any person who appears to be intoxicated will not be permitted to board an aircraft.

CASAIR’s Head Office is located at Perth’s Jandakot Airport with short-term parking on site, and long-term parking with a complimentary shuttle service available (bookings required).
